Syphilis test S/P/WB 25’S (CASSETTE)

Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease(STD)caused by Spirochete bacterium called Treponema pallidum(TP). The organism can also be transmitted to a fetus by transplacental passage during the later stages of pregnancy, giving rise to congenital syphilis. If untreated or not treated early enough, the organisms may move throughout the body and can cause damage to many organs, making syphilis a life-threatening disease. Syphilis can be effectively treated with antibiotics, but early detection and treatment is critical.

The Syphilis Rapid Test Cassette/Strip (Syphilis test S/P/WB 25’S (CASSETTE)) is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of antibodies to Treponema Pallidum in human whole blood, serum or plasma.
